Jan 11, 2009 - In Person Excellent session which focused on an understanding of the music from an emotional perspective. How finding a deeper understanding of the specific emotions at points in the song really changed the quartets performance vocally. Liz also introduced us to the concept of 'thought points' rather than breath points which kept the emotional engagment and correspondingly improved sync and unity. We also worked on rhythm as although we all sang the song the same it wasn't until we identified the downbeat together that we really understood the rhythm of the piece. It was a great session.

Dec 31, 1969 - In Person Liz coached Harmony InSpires - a ladies barbershop chorus - with an infectious energy that was very inspirational. She was very generous in her sharing of her expertise, and really gave the chorus members a boost of confidence that has stayed. She made the learning fun, and we all agreed that we had a great time with her. Liz has the ability to teach at the level of those she is coaching. Many of the chorus members have only been singing with us for a few months and are therefore new to this genre; others in the chorus have been singing for about 10 years. Liz communicated at a level that was just right for everyone. We will certainlyl be asking her to come back again and again!
